The TREIO Online Training focuses on the modalities of issuing, receiving and executing EIOs, including via the e-Evidence Digital Exchange System (eEDES), alongside information about ITN and MLA Requests as part of the eEDES workflow. TREIO tools, offered to the participants in the online training, include:

  • self-paced e-learning course on EIO implementation using eEDES based on TREIO training materials and providing for real-time training modalities via the eEDES Simulator
  • access to the TREIO eEDES Simulator which emulates the EIO business flow (with customised auto-responder) and a full e-CODEX infrastructure to provide realistic message flows among trainees.

It is offered in two formats:

The TREIO Online Training - Full Training Package, introduces the participants to both legal and business aspects of the EIO implementation including via eEDES. The course covers the very basics of the EIO Directive, the EIO forms, and the modalities of issuing, receiving, and executing EIOs, using the TREIO eEDES Simulator to perform these tasks. Additionally, information about ITN and MLA Requests as part of the eEDES workflow will accompany the materials on the EIO.

The TREIO Online Training - eEDES Training Package, introduces the participants to aspects on how to use eEDES for the issuing, receiving, and executing EIOs using the TREIO eEDES Simulator to perform these tasks. Additionally, information about sending ITN and MLA Requests using eEDES will accompany the materials on the EIO.

The courses are self-paced and do not require an instructor and, therefore, the participants can complete each of the courses to their own available schedule. Their duration is planned for 3 to 5 days of non-intensive work.

This online training is offered free to all registered participants. No cost is associated with this training. All participants who successfully pass the final examination will receive a certificate of completion for the training.

IMPORTANT! The TREIO Online Training has been open to all interested on 09 October 2023. One is free to express their interest in the online training at any stage; further information to all registered will following in up to 3-5 days after the registration of their interest. Should participants not receive these access details within the expected time, they are asked to check their Spam Boxes. In case, they still not find their access details, they are kindly asked to get in contact with office@treio.eu.

  • TREIO e-Learning Course, TREIO eEDES Simulator and TREIO Auto-Responder authentications are linked:
    • 1 common account (username/password) for ALL interfaces
  • To access to the TREIO e-Learning Course, go to https://moodle.ecteg.eu/
    • For security reasons the LMS will require you to change the original password given to you at first entry.
    • From then on, use only the NEW password
  • To access to the TREIO eEDES Simulator, go to https://treio2.ee.auth.gr
    • Use only the ORIGINAL password given to you
  • To access to the TREIO Auto-Responder, go to https://eiotest2.ee.auth.gr
    • Use only the ORIGINAL password given to you

Possible recipients of the personal data provided during this survey include the Norwegian Police University College (Postboks 2109 Vika, 0125 Oslo, Norway), LIBRe Foundation (64B Dimitar Petkov Str., 1309 Sofia, Bulgaria), the European CyberCrime Training and Education Group – ECTEG (Rue Royale 202A, 1000 Brussels, Belgium), and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (University Campus, 54124 Thessaloniki, Greece).

Data provided by participants will be stored for the duration of the online training activates and their piloting study and five years after the end of the project, to facilitate the development of the training activities, the quality enhancement of future trainings, and as part of the project technical reporting and performance documentation for the TREIO Project.

The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is your consent under article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We rely on your consent to process the personal data you provide to us for registering you for the event and provide you with all related services for facilitating your participation.
